Charger Chatter: Evyn Humphrey

What’s the biggest thing on your bucket list?

Returning to Alaska and maybe climbing Mt. Denali or visiting Australia and New Zealand.

What’s your go-to late night snack?

Dark chocolate or anything covered with dark chocolate. I know that sounds awful because chocolate has caffeine, but I enjoy it.

What’s the best thing to listen to while running?

“Don’t Stop Me Now” by Queen because, if you are a true runner, you will have a ball every run and won’t want to stop at all.

Which character from a Disney movie would you be and why?

Rapunzel from “Tangled” because she is beautiful, has a cute chameleon, loves to explore the world, and brings the best out of everyone she meets.

How has cross country helped develop your character?

Cross country teaches a valuable lesson: endurance. Like everything else in life, cross country demands a lot of you, but the beauty of cross country is seeing how strong you can become—what your full potential is—under stressful circumstances. Cross country has taught me to keep going and finish strong to the bitter end.
