Students can expect pumpkin and tote bag painting, caramel apples, popcorn, Meckley’s donuts, Checker Records coffee, and apple cider at this year’s Fall Fest.
The Student Activities Board will host its annual Fall Fest this Friday from 3-6 p.m. on the quad.
Fall Fest is traditionally held during Parents Weekend, said senior and member of SAB’s event team Gabrielle Lewis.
Students can play tic-tac-toe, checkers, and other yard games with their families, Lewis said.
“We actually have a really fun photo drop background that will include hay bales and pumpkins and the backdrop as well,” Lewis said.
If the weather is bad, the event will be moved inside, she said.
“We’re still gonna be having the event. It’s a family classic,” Lewis said.
Sophomore Lydia Colby said she has fond memories of last year’s Fall Fest.
“My dad and I played cornhole because I absolutely love cornhole,” Colby said. “But we also stopped by and got snacks, which were fabulous.”
Colby said she encourages students to bring their families to the event.
“One thing that I really loved about Fall Fest is that because they had snacks and everything we got to talk with so many people,” Colby said. “It was really fun for my dad to be able to meet other parents, but also meet some of my friends. The event is a great way to get to know other people.”
