Home News Kimberley Strassel of the Wall Street Journal to be Pulliam Fellow

Kimberley Strassel of the Wall Street Journal will be the fall 2013 Pulliam Visiting Distinguished Fellow, the Dow Journalism Program announced this week.

Strassel writes a Friday column called “Potomac Watch,” and is a member of the Journal’s editorial board. A graduate of Princeton University, Strassel previously lived in Brussels, Belgium, and wrote for the Wall Street Journal Europe, before moving to London to cover technology for the Journal. She moved to New York in 1999 to cover Real Estate and then moved to the editorial page. She now lives in Washington, D.C., area with her husband and three children.

Strassel said she was excited for the fellowship. “I’m most excited to teach the class,” Strassel said. “I’m betting I learn something as well from the next generation of writers.”

“We’re excited to welcome Kim Strassel to campus,” Dow Journalism Program Director John J. Miller said. “She’s done fantastic work at the Journal, and her reported columns are a great model for aspiring opinion writers at Hillsdale.”

Strassel will be on campus from Oct. 28 to Nov. 6.
