Does Hillsdale do anything in particular for Valentine’s Day?
The city doesn’t, but a lot of businesses run specials. I know that Taste of Life and Finish Line are both running specials this week. Probably Johnny T’s too.
Does Jilly Beans do anything special for the holiday?
We have special flavors, including a chocolate-covered cherry mocha and a red-hot latte.
Those both sound good! What’s in them?
The mocha has chocolate, cherry, steamed milk, and espresso. The red-hot latte is your standard latte with vanilla and cinnamon.
Have you ever had one?
I haven’t, personally, but we sell a lot of them.
How long are they offered for?
We offer them all the time, but feature them specifically on Valentine’s Day. They work well with the holiday taste-wise, but we also put sprinkles or cinnamon specks on top to make them extra festive.
Any fun Valentine’s Day plans?
Not for a couple weeks. I have the day off, but my husband has to work.
Do people come to Jilly Bean’s for Valentine’s Day dates?
Some husbands will take their wives out, but since it’s not a national holiday, almost everyone has work. So, they won’t really be out and celebrating until Saturday. But you might see a husband or two come in to buy his wife a special drink to start off the morning.
