The Student Activities Board will host a battle-royale style paintball competition at Michindoh Conference Center this Friday at 3 p.m.

Teams of ten students will have 30 minutes to overtake another team on the Michindoh paintball course. Weapons and protective gear will be provided. The event is free to students, but participants are responsible for finding their own transportation.

Students can choose between 4 time slots to play. Each team will be expected to be there 15 minutes prior to their scheduled time for equipment and safety briefings.

Director of Student Activities Zane Mabry ’20 said he is excited for this year’s paintball games. SAB has hosted the competition before, but it was canceled last fall due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

“I really like this event because it is a little different than a lot of other SAB events,” he said.

Freshman Jack Walker said he is eager to participate.

“This is a great opportunity for bonding with your friends and sounds just plain fun,” he said.
