While Chipotle is scarce in Hillsdale, luckily it won’t be on Saturday where the class of 2022 can enjoy the popular Mexican restaurant and beer at Hayden Park as part of a senior class event.
Free to students and catered by Chipotle and the Market House, the seniors-only event will include yard games, Bell’s Oberon beer, and hard cider. If students 21 and older plan on drinking, they will have to show their government-issued ID.
“Our goal is to create a space that will allow seniors to create memories in their final year at Hillsdale and connect with members of our class they may not have before,” Senior Class Vice President Maya Kaniaupio said. “This year we have to take advantage of every chance we get to spend time with our class because graduation will spread us all across the country.”
This event is the second welcome event of the year put on by the class council, following the senior sunrise.
“It’s gonna be a lot of fun,” Senior Class President Jacob Hooper said. “I’m bringing my portable disc golf basket, which in my opinion will be one of the most exciting parts because disc golf is awesome.”
