Hillsdale College’s Students Against Cancer will be holding a scavenger hunt on April 6 at 3 p.m.
Student Coordinator senior Amelia Kerton explained that this fundraiser is an opportunity for the GOAL program to directly impact the Hillsdale community.
“Since all proceeds from our Relay for Life event in the fall goes to the national organization, we wanted our spring event to focus on serving our local community,” Kerton said.
Teams of five will be given a list of clues leading them to multiple business in the downtown area. Once the team solves each clue, they must take a group picture in front of the business. The fastest team with the most solved clues will win a prize of donated gift cards and treats.
“We have some great businesses involved. There are some difficult clues, but it is gonna be a great time,” Kerton said.
Those interested in participating in the scavenger hunt should meet at 2:30 p.m. on April 6 in front of Central Hall. While individual donations are accepted, teams of five can sign up in the Grewcock Student Union or on the day of the event for $25. All proceeds will be donated to the Infusion Center at the Hillsdale Community Health Center.
