Q: What winter sport would you want to compete in and why?

A: Figure skating! I want to be one of those twirly girls with the dress that gets thrown in the air and then lands and it’s flawless. I want to do a backflip on the ice. I can’t even do it on land, but…

Q: What’s the best part about being a student athlete?

A: The best part is yo have a break in your day and you’re not a nerd all day. You have moments of running and getting everything out that you might have not been able to get out in class.

Q: If you could use your pole vaulting skills to dominate any video game, what would it be?

A: Probably “Super Smash Brothers.” I feel like there are so many times when I play that video game and I fall off the edge of the world and then I just need to jump up and I feel like I would be able to conquer anyone with jumping skills.

Q: What is your most embarrassing track moment?

A: We were doing a drill one day where you started in a random position to do a sprint. Our coach was changing the positions up and one day he told us to do a somersault and I forgot how to somersault and front flipped onto my back.
