In replacement of the beloved Hillsdale County Fair, on Oct. 1-3 fair food will be available for purchase at the Fair Food Drive-Thru.
The drive-thru will feature Beach Concessions, Fiske Fries, Maria’s, Red Barn Elephant Ears, Smith Concessions, Mary Lou’s, the Donut Hut, and the Almond King.
Attendees must enter through the South street entrance and are asked to stay in their cars. The event is cash only.
“This will be the third one we have done,” Lori Hull, fair manager, said. “ A lot of fairs have done them as an opportunity to provide vendors with a chance to make a little money that they don’t traditionally make.”
In addition to the drive-thru, the Hillsdale County Fair will be hosting a drive-in concert featuring 10 Talents and Sanctus Real. Gates open at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 3 with admissions costing $25 per vehicle. The first act will go on at 7 p.m.
Concert-goers are encouraged to go through the drive-thru ahead of time because they will not have access to food once in the concert venue.
