This semester, Associate Professor of History Paul Moreno is stepping down as dean of faculty at Hillsdale College, a position he has held for three years. Moreno said the choice of his replacement is underway, but an official decision has not been made.
Hillsdale College’s budget will increase by $3 million next year, and students will have to pay about $950 more a year in tuition and room and board as a result.
For the first time in Hillsdale College history, Students in Free Enterprise qualified for SIFE nationals. They will compete at the National Exposition in Kansas City, Mo., May 22 and 23.
Jacob Secor, a senior financial management major, runs on the cross-country and track teams. He currently holds the school record in the outdoor 3,000-meter run, and he sat down with The Collegian to reflect on his running career and talk about the end of his last track season at Hillsdale College.
