Diving into the debate
As the diver stood at the edge of the diving board, we all held our breath. One, two, three bounces. She jumped, twisted, and entered the water. The scores: 6, 7, 6.5. The swimmers relaxed, let out a collective sigh of relief, and clapped for the surfacing diver. That final dive secured the dual-meet win.
We need good men
Mr. Gaiser, I disagree with the argument of your recent article “Choose Good Principles, not Good Men.” Your fundamental belief — unless I’ve misread you — is that man need only believe in the right principles and all will be well. I would argue that we need good principles, yes, but these principles need great men to have any value.
