The Students Against Cancer GOAL program held the first annual “Students Against Cancer Dance-a-thon” in the Knorr Family Dining Room on March 30. SAC student coordinator, junior Amelia Kerton, said the event drew more than 90 people and raised more than $600 for a local cancer care center.
The Hillsdale City Council held its regularly scheduled meeting on March 18.
Unlike most of the state of Michigan, residents of Hillsdale, Clinton, Coldwater, Marshall, and Union City will not pay transmission costs for new energy from the plain states.
Last week seniors Kirsten Block and Roxanna West and sophomores Emily Goodling and Alisha Pehlert represented Hillsdale at the Eta Sigma Phi national convention in St. Louis, Mo.
