O’Rourke spoke at this week’s CCA, “Adam Smith, Free Markets, and the Modern World,” He is best known for his writing in Rolling Stone, The Atlantic Monthly, and National Lampoon. He has also written 17 books including “Eat the Rich, “Give War A Chance,” and “A Parliament of Whores.”

John Papola visited Hillsdale on the request of the Praxis Club on Tuesday, Jan. 24. Papola with his production company, Emergent Order, produced two rap videos called “Fear the Boom and Bust” and “Fight of the Century: Keynes and Hayek Round Two” which colorfully depict the tensions between Hayek’s philosophy and Keynesian economics.
