At one time, the titles of Kappa Kappa Gamma president, student ambassador, Student Federation president, and English major described Christy Maier ‘98. Even now, 14 years after she graduated, Maier has not lost any of her youthful energy or love for the Hillsdale College campus.

Everett finalists to compete today
The final round of the Edward Everett Oratory competition will be held in Phillips Auditorium on Thursday, March 8 at 11 a.m. Five finalists will face off for a $3,000 prize. This year’s topic was social networks, which senior Samantha Nasser said allows ample room for diverse responses among the competitors.
Galloway holds volunteer competition

Students support Pink Wave
In addition to the men’s and women’s basketball victories over Ohio Dominican University last Thursday, the Student Athlete Advisory Committee had an equally triumphant evening. They raised more that $2,000 for Pink Wave, the breast cancer awareness initiative.
