Those watching the Super Bowl Sunday on Fox 47 likely saw some familiar scenes on the TV.
Hillsdale College’s “Freedom” commercial appeared before and after the Super Bowl as a part of the college’s renewed ad campaign. Hillsdale extended the campaign for the beginning of 2017, Director of Marketing Bill Gray said.
The TV spot made its debut in September, and the national television campaign lasted through December.
The ad during the Super Bowl attracted some attention on social media, drawing comments on the Vanished Hillsdale Facebook page.
“Wow! Hillsdale College, always forward thinking and out in front,” Dutch Van Fleet ’73 said in a comment. “Well done to all.”
