Hillsdale College debaters sophomores Harris Wells and Lauren Holt won the Michigan Lincoln-Douglas championship title this weekend, in a comprehensive sweep of the tournament.

At its meeting last month in Newport Beach, Calif., the Hillsdale College Board of Trustees approved 14 sabbaticals or next year, including three yearlong sabbaticals.

The Science Fiction Films of the 1950s CCA covered everything from the making of special effects to the political and philosophical underpinnings of the era. It also featured high-profile film critics such as Richard Schickel and four films from the era.

After a month of formal membership review, Hillsdale College fraternity Delta Sigma Phi is still working with the national fraternity and Dean of Men Aaron Petersen’s office to determine the chapter’s future, senior DJ Loy, president of the chapter said.
