In the midst of homework and studying for exams, many Hillsdale students still found time to join the estimated 100 mil. people watching Monday’s Presidential Debate on TV and newer digital mediums like YouTube streaming.

And they didn’t just watch #debatenight silently. They had opinions and they tweeted about them. Some tried to be funny, while others were serious.

While Hillsdale is admittedly more conservative that most other schools, its students seemed to share their generation’s dissatisfaction with the candidates America’s political process has produced this presidential election cycle. Some expressed partisanship in their tweets, while others seemed equally unimpressed with both parties.
