Sophomore Gabe Katz performed particularly well at six singles, winning two matches from the outset 6-2, 6-0.

The following day, the Chargers lost to no. 6 St. Leo University 5-2. Hillsdale bounced back two days later against Our Lady of the Lake University.

The Chargers routed Our Lady of the Lake 6-1, dropping few points along the way. Katz again impressed with scores of 6-1, 6-0 wins at five singles. Senior Jerry Hewitt also won 6-1, 6-0 at no. 6 singles.

The team looks ahead to its first conference match at home this Friday against Davis and Elkins College.
