The new Café Fresco, located in Kendall Hall at Hillsdale College, opened on Monday with a variety of options for lunch hours.

Bon Appétit Managment Company opened the grab ’n’ go to alleviate the heavy traffic in the Knorr Dining Hall from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Some of the students who tested the waters Monday morning gave good reviews, as well as some pointers.

“I like the availability,” said sophomore Avery Helms. “And you have more variety instead of just two choices with Passport and Sizzle.”

Senior Giannina Imperial agreed.

“It was nice to be able to take it out without actually going into Saga,” Imperial said. “The options were reasonable.”

However one complaint Imperial noted having water was the single beverage option.

“So maybe they might want to branch out a little bit there,” Imperial said.

Sophomore Mitchell Biggs was also very enthusiastic about the addition.

“It beats going up the hill, going to A.J.’s, going to Saga,” Biggs said. “And the fact that you use a swipe means I don’t have to worry about my Charger change. So I think it’s great.”
