Police have found a 13-year-old Hillsdale boy that was reported missing Thursday.

Around 2 p.m. Friday, Hillsdale County Sheriff’s Office posted on Facebook that Zidaine Binion had been located and found safe after being last seen at 2 p.m. Thursday at Davis Middle School.

Police Chief Scott Hephner was not immediately available for comment.

Binion was found three hours after Hephner was asking Hillsdale County residents to check their outbuildings and properties for the teenager.

After school on Thursday, the seventh grader did not take the bus home, according to a Facebook post from Hillsdale Community Schools. Instead, he voluntarily walked away from the building and was believed to be in the downtown area.
