Police have found a 13-year-old Hillsdale boy that was reported missing Thursday.

Around 2 p.m. Friday, Hillsdale County Sheriff’s Office posted on Facebook that Zidaine Binion had been located and found safe after being last seen at 2 p.m. Thursday at Davis Middle School.

Police Chief Scott Hephner was not imme­di­ately available for comment.

Binion was found three hours after Hephner was asking Hillsdale County res­i­dents to check their out­buildings and prop­erties for the teenager.

After school on Thursday, the seventh grader did not take the bus home, according to a Facebook post from Hillsdale Com­munity Schools. Instead, he vol­un­tarily walked away from the building and was believed to be in the downtown area.
