The Hillsdale College Dow Journalism Program is hosting National Review Editor Rich Lowry, who will be talking about his new book, “Lincoln Unbound: How an Ambitious Young Railsplitter Saved the American Dream–and How We Can Do It Again” at 8 p.m. on Oct. 2 in Dow A&B.
Lowry graduated from the University of Virginia in 1990, where he edited a monthly magazine called the “Virginia Advocate.” After graduation, he went to work as a research assistant for Charles Krauthammer. He joined National Review in 1992, and has served as editor since 1997.
He is a syndicated columnist and a contributor to Fox News, and he has written for The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal, and a number of other publications. Lowry is also the acclaimed author of the New York Times bestseller “Legacy: Paying the Price for the Clinton Years.”
