The Hillsdale College Student Activities Board is organizing an all-school ski trip for Feb. 16.

In past years, the ski trip has been in different locations, but this year it is at the Bittersweet Ski Resort in Kalamazoo, Mich.

“While the ski trip has been done in previous years, it’s not usually as popular,” senior Jessica Youngstrom, student director of campus health and recreation said.

While all 35 spots on the bus are full, Youngstrom said SAB will subsidize the cost for anyone who wants to go.

Students are welcome to bring their own equipment, although rental equipment will be available at the hill and covered by the $20 cost for the entire trip, Youngstrom said.

Youngstrom also said the SAB is trying to organize a Saga meal exchange for sack lunches.

The group will leave at approximately 9 a.m. and return at 8 p.m.

The trip is on the Reading Day weekend, leaving room for any homework students might have.

SAB requests that all interested students email Youngstrom.
