Dia de los Muertos at 12 a.m. in the Curtis Dining Hall. $3 Admission fee — all proceeds go to helping the children and families of Peru. There will be dancing, snacks, and a costume competition with prizes. Brought to you by the Aliaga Foundation. Contact:  dwilhelmsen@hillsdale.edu

Saturday, Nov. 3 

 

Swamp Stomp at 11 a.m. at Hayden Park Cross Country Course on Barber Drive. You can pre-register in the Student union during lunch. It costs $10 for an Individual ($15 on race day) and $30 Team of Five ($50 on race day). The money goes towards your T-shirt, race number, registration fees and food. All proceeds go to support Women Helping Women. The 5k race will have a first place grand prize, team prizes and 2nd/3rd place prizes. Costumes are encouraged but may get dirty due to obstacles including a mud pit. Contact: mphilipp@hillsdale.edu

 

Prayer Breakfast at 9 a.m. in Waterman Residence Lobby. Come for food, fellowship, and a chance to pray for the various ministries on campus. If interested, contact Abi Wood awood@hillsdale.edu

 

First Annual Waltz in the Old Snack Bar. A beginner’s Lesson will begin at 8 p.m. followed by open dance from 9-11 p.m. Come in formal attire and thank the Swing and Ballroom Dance clubs for this event.
